v6.42 — 🔓 Crack it — a new Words mode

  • Don’t know the answer? Open the letters. One per try: a hit puts that letter in every place it occurs, for free; a miss costs 10 points out of a hundred. Everyone has their own mask, so nobody’s miss is a hint for the rest, and the host screen shows numbers only: how many letters are open and how many points each player is on.
  • In Crack it you answer once, and that closes your round: no more letters, no changes. There is also no need to rush — the timer can be switched off entirely here, because time opens nothing: the host closes the round when everyone has made up their mind.
  • The mode is marked “soon” for now — we are still testing it on live rooms. You can already read the rules on the “How to play” page, in the Words section.

v6.41 — 👍 Rate a board you played

  • After a game you can give the board a 👍 or 👎 — the host, the players and solo runs alike. The Community and the board picker show how many people the board worked for: the list finally says not just how many played, but whether it was any good.
  • The “Popular” sort now works in all five games and counts likes. It used to count solo runs, so in 🔨 Auction and 🆚 VS — which have no solo — the toggle was missing entirely.
  • Only likes are public. A dislike never becomes a number under someone’s board — it reaches us as a signal of which board to look at: we have very few authors, and they publish boards as a favour.
  • If the author changes the questions, the board’s ratings are cleared — they were about a different board. Editing the title, language or difficulty leaves them alone.

v6.40 — 🙏 Thanks to the people who helped

  • The contacts page now has a “Technical and spiritual CEOs” block: Gugardo, BigV, Snoopy, Eric and Fedos helped with ideas and tested the game.

v6.39.1 — 🧭 Home page occasions: names only

  • The six “Where people play it” cards now carry only the name of the occasion. The description under each read as a recipe — “for a party, play Auction and VS” — and narrowed the choice where any of the five games fits. A name prescribes nothing, and the block got more compact.

v6.39 — 🧭 On the home page: where people play it

  • A block with six scenarios now sits under the first screen: a party, a company event, a lesson, an online meeting, a family celebration and a quiz night. Each one names what to turn on, not just the occasion: Team mode counts the average score, so a team of three plays fair against a team of five; for a lesson you can generate the questions with AI, and Solo works as homework with a class record. The first screen itself is unchanged.
